  6. This folder contains documentation, interfaces, libraries, and sample code to allow you to read from and write to the AppleShare Registry.

  9. Note: the AppleShare Registry is only available for PowerPC applications.

  14. The Headers folder contains C, Pascal, and ASM headers for the AppleShare IP Registry API, common attribute signatures and types, and headers for attributes affecting the AppleShare IP Mail and File Servers. Be sure to check structure version numbers as some structures may change.

  19. The Libraries folder contains a CFM stub library for linking to the AppleShare Registry.

  24. The Sample Code folder contains a C "program/cookbook" that makes several Registry calls, as discussed in the AppleShare Registry Library document. The sample uses CodeWarrior Pro 3.

The AppleShare Registry Library document describes how to work with the AppleShare IP Registry, including Web & File Server and Mail Server user attributes. This document is a PDF file and can be viewed with the Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or later. Please refer to the documentation for all instructions and detailed information on AppleShare IP Registry development.
